This is augmented on Suffocating Hallucination as the duo have upped the atmospherics. Taking cues from bands like His Hero Is Gone, Eyehategod and Noothgrush, there is a bleakness that permeates the whole album. As a result, there are plenty of surprising moments on this record. For example, 'Armory of Obsidian Glass' features wordless guest vocals from Lingua Ignota over droning distorted guitars and feedback. It is a very different track to the normal chaos of Full Of Hell and surprisingly it works.
