Cremation?

Burning of a dead human body [cremation?] mentioned at least twice; it certainly doesn't appear to be forbidden: Joshua 7:25; 1 Samuel 31:12; 1 Corinthians 13:3; the reasons for burning them are different, but the bodies were burned after death in some cases. Some say it does make a difference; no cremation allowed, only burial. I would ask why not cremation? Another question I have is what happens to a person that dies in a fire and their body is consumed in the fire, or they are blown to bits by a terrorist bomb; in other words, there is nothing left to bury? Does death of our natural bodies in a certain way exclude our souls and spirits from entering heaven? If you think it does, please share chapter and verse from a KJV Bible with me.

I just read a headline on a so-called Christian news site that said, “Stunning Proportion of Americans Believe 'Biblical Accounts of the Physical Resurrection of Jesus Are Completely Accurate”; which means that some don’t believe it. How can anyone claim to be a Christian, regardless of what country they are from, if they do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ? It is really quite simple, you are not a Christian if you do not believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Just read the below verses in 1 Corinthians 15: 11-44 for your answer straight from God’s true word.

What happens to our souls and spirits when our flesh bodies die? Some choose to believe that our souls and spirits are in the grave awaiting the return of Christ and the resurrection of our flesh bodies, souls and spirits; they don’t know we have two bodies (see 1 Corinthians 15:35 below and 1 Corinthians 15:40-50 in a KJV Bible). Some call this “soul sleep”. There are others that believe that the spirit is with God upon death and these flesh bodies in the grave will be resurrected in glorified form at Christ’s return. I believe differently based on the following verses, among many.

1 Corinthians 15:11 Therefore whether it were I or they, so we preach, and so ye believed.
1 Corinthians 15:12 Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead?
1 Corinthians 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1 Corinthians 15:14 And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
1 Corinthians 15:15 Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.
1 Corinthians 15:16 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:
1 Corinthians 15:17 And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins.

1 Corinthians 15:35 But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come?

1 Corinthians 15:44 It is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.

[We have two bodies, a natural one and a spiritual one. See 2 Corinthians 5:1-8; when we die we are present with the Lord. The spiritual body is what one spends eternity in, not their flesh/natural body. What does the word “raised” mean in 1 Corinthians 15:44? Resurrection (a transition from flesh to spirit) is what it means. Cremation is not a sin as some preach].
