He had to be both!

Please study and review this completely. Far too many people just don't realize who Jesus was; these verses, among many others, tell us what most don't know about Him. This is a KJV Bible study guide to hopefully help you connect more dots thereby getting a more complete picture.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel. [“Immanuel” means what? Look this word up in a Strong’s Exhaustive Concordance for your answer].

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

God/Jesus Christ was with us; He dwelt among us! The Word was God (John 1:1)! The Word was made flesh! That is what the above three verses say to me. How about you? Remember, His word is truth (John 17:17).

This is what I choose to believe!

He had to be both, God and man!! I recently heard it said this way, “He was not man becoming God, He was God becoming man”. A mere man dying in any manner couldn't accomplish what Jesus did by shedding His sin free blood for all of us (His gift of salvation). If He came as God only, He couldn't have died or been killed at the hands of man. Do you believe a mere man can kill God who is eternal? I certainly hope not. Again, He had to be both! This is definitely something to pray about, contemplate on and research to the fullest extent. See 1 Timothy 3:16 also. Why did He come here to earth? See Hebrews 2:14-18.

If you want more wisdom from above, ask God for it; see James 1:5. Keep studying the entire Bible my friends; cover to cover, book by book, chapter by chapter and verse by verse. Don't omit any part of it; get the whole picture. You’ll be surprised at what you can learn.
