He treats over 175 breast cancers per year. He qualified from Newcastle Medical School in 2001 with Distinction and completed the majority of his surgical training in the North-East. He spent 12 months as a national TIG Oncoplastic Fellow in Sheffield in 2011-12. He has a strong interest in clinical research and is Principal Investigator in 3 NIHR portfolio studies. He is a teaching faculty member for the Royal College of Surgeons level 1 Oncoplastic course, National TIG fellow cadaveric course, Regional Higher Surgical Trainees course and the Association of Breast Surgery Trainees Annual Meeting.  | |
