False balance!

False balance as used today! This is a KJV Bible study guide.
Leviticus 19:35 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment, in meteyard, in weight, or in measure.
Deuteronomy 25:13 Thou shalt not have in thy bag divers weights, a great and a small.
Deuteronomy 25:14 Thou shalt not have in thine house divers measures, a great and a small.
Deuteronomy 25:15 But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.
Deuteronomy 25:16 For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God.
Proverbs 11:1 A false balance is abomination to the LORD: but a just weight is his delight.
Matthew 7: 2 For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.
An example of a “False balance” is a media bias in which journalists present an issue as being more balanced between opposing viewpoints than the evidence supports. Journalists may present evidence and arguments out of proportion to the actual evidence for each side, or may omit information that would establish one side's claims as baseless. This is called a double standard also; it is very evident today (2022/2023). It occurs in many walks of life to include politics, business, racial issues, etc.
Some politicians are guilty of this as well. They investigate some but not others; they apply the law in an unfair, unbalanced manner. Read Matthew 7:2 again very carefully.
ABOMINA'TION: Extreme hatred; detestation; The object of detestation, a common signification in scripture; Hence, defilement, pollution, in a physical sense, or evil doctrines and practices, which are moral defilements, idols and idolatry, are called abominations.
Double standard: a rule or principle which is unfairly applied in different ways to different people or groups.
Scales of justice: the scales represent the weighing of evidence and are balanced to portray that the evidence should stand on its own.
It is apparent that some do not apply the evidence in a fair and balanced manner. Some evidence is fabricated or is distorted to achieve a certain outcome; that would be considered a false balance/double standard and bearing false witness. It is deceitful and considered to be an abomination to God.
2 Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.
Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
If you study the above comments and bible verses you will learn that this sort of action is hated (it is an abomination) to our heavenly Father; not a good place to be in regardless of how you apply that false balance/double standard. We see it in business, politics, law, racial issues, access to education, etc., etc.; the list goes on and on. I feel we humans need to take a closer look at how we do things and try to make sure we don’t apply a false balance/double standard on someone else.
Judgment day is coming. Continue to study your bibles as completely as possible.
