Iranian Musical Group Performs Live at AAFT


Noida, India – An electrifying musical evening unfolded at AAFT as an esteemed Iranian musical group graced the stage with a mesmerizing live performance. The event showcased the rich cultural heritage of Iran through music, captivating the audience with soulful melodies and dynamic rhythms.

The distinguished group comprised senior artists from Iran, including Mehran Sepiddast (Band Leader & Violinist), Morteza Fetri (Vocalist & Tar Player), Ahmed Rasouli (Tonbak Player), Alireza Miraei (Bandir Player), and Shayan Sepiddast (Guitarist). Their enthralling performance brought an authentic taste of Iranian music to the Indian audience, fostering a deep appreciation for cross-cultural harmony.

Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of AAFT, expressed his thoughts on the occasion, stating, “Music is the language of the soul. It makes life easier, more comfortable, and elevates us to spirituality.”

The concert was organized in collaboration with the Indo-Iran Film and Cultural Forum, Iran Cultural Centre, Embassy of Iran, and the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI). The event served as an invaluable learning experience for students of the AAFT School of Music, who participated enthusiastically in the specially curated session, designed to enhance their exposure to international musical traditions.

The evening concluded with a resounding applause from the audience, marking another successful effort in strengthening cultural ties between India and Iran through the universal language of music.
